Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 4, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Egypt Encompassed Luxury website. Egypt Encompassed Luxury is the five-star deluxe collection of Egypt Encompassed and is designed and operated by the same Egypt-based team.

General payment and cancellation policy

Payment and cancellation conditions will be specified separately in each proposal.

However, in general, our broader payment and cancellation policy is as follows:

Registration and payment

A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. We accept payment via wire transfer. The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation

All cancellations of confirmed reservations are subject to a $350 per person administrative fee. Additionally, clients are subject to any cancellation fees assessed by the purveyors of services including hotels, rail or airlines used in the itinerary. Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus the $350 per person administrative fee. 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit (30% trip price). 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.

1. Website information

The material on this website is provided for general information and inspiration. Journey descriptions are illustrative frameworks rather than fixed packages, offers, or guarantees of availability. Supplier details, operating conditions, permissions, schedules, prices, and inclusions may change.

2. Private proposals and bookings

A website enquiry does not create a booking. Services are offered only through a written private proposal. A booking becomes binding only after you accept the applicable proposal or booking agreement and Egypt Encompassed confirms receipt of the required payment. The proposal or booking agreement will identify the confirmed itinerary, services, suppliers, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and any journey-specific conditions.

3. Prices and payments

All prices, currencies, deposit requirements, payment deadlines, and bank or card charges will be stated in the private proposal or booking agreement. Prices shown in a proposal may be time-limited and subject to availability until the booking is confirmed. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and traveller information.

4. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Change, cancellation, and refund conditions vary by journey and supplier and will be stated in the private proposal or booking agreement. Airlines, hotels, vessels, transport providers, guides, venues, and other suppliers may impose their own conditions. We will explain material changes and available alternatives as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Hotels, vessels, transport, and aviation

Named residences, room or suite categories, views, bedding, vessel charter status, cabins, vehicle classes, and aviation arrangements are confirmed only in writing. Aircraft selection depends on the route, party size, luggage, airport permissions, provider availability, and operating conditions. Sailing routes and schedules may be affected by navigation, wind, docking, river, and other operational conditions.

6. Exceptional access and special arrangements

Private monument arrangements, restricted-area access, private openings, specialist visits, private dining locations, and similar experiences are subject to official permissions, operating conditions, availability, and final written confirmation. We cannot guarantee approval by government authorities, site managers, or other third parties.

7. Traveller responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that every traveller holds valid passports, visas, permits, and any required health documentation. You must provide accurate information about mobility, dietary, medical, or other requirements that may affect the journey. We strongly recommend appropriate comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, and repatriation cover.

8. Third-party suppliers and force majeure

Many travel services are provided by independent licensed suppliers. Their own terms may also apply. Egypt Encompassed will use reasonable care in selecting and coordinating suppliers but is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control, including government action, weather, natural events, public-health measures, civil disturbance, transport disruption, navigation conditions, or supplier operational changes.

9. Website use and intellectual property

Website text, branding, design, and owned imagery may not be copied, republished, commercially exploited, or presented as another operator’s work without prior written permission. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or submit unlawful, misleading, or harmful material.

10. Privacy

Personal information submitted through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please do not send payment-card details, passport scans, or sensitive medical information through the general proposal form unless specifically requested through an approved secure method.

11. Conflicts and governing terms

If these website terms conflict with a signed proposal, booking agreement, or supplier condition that applies to a confirmed service, the more specific booking document will govern that service. Any applicable governing-law or dispute terms will be identified in the confirmed booking documentation.
