Begin in a landmark Cairo or Giza residence selected around the way you want to experience the city—Pyramid proximity, central Cairo access, historic atmosphere or contemporary suite comfort. Explore with a private Egyptologist who can adapt the depth, sequence and rhythm of each visit rather than deliver a fixed script.
Continue to Luxor for the temples and royal necropolises of ancient Thebes. Stay on the West Bank for quiet and proximity to the archaeological landscape, or select an alternative that better suits your preferred setting. Then step aboard a Dahabiya reserved entirely for your party. The deck becomes your private living room on the Nile; meals, shore visits and time at rest are shaped around the group, within the practical conditions of sailing and navigation.
Conclude in Aswan, where the Nile widens around granite islands and the journey slows again. A landmark residence, private boat arrangements and an optional Abu Simbel visit can be integrated according to your interests and the route.

Meals can be discussed in advance, and the rhythm of the day can become more personal—within the route, wind, navigation, docking and official operating conditions that govern the Nile.
We do not describe every traditional sailing boat as high-end. The vessel must be assessed for the things that matter in practice: cabin and bathroom design, air-conditioning arrangements, outdoor space, crew, maintenance, cuisine, route, mooring pattern, safety and the standard of communication before arrival.

Luxury hotels in Egypt can serve very different journeys. A Pyramid-view room at Marriott Mena House places Giza at the emotional center of the stay. Cairo Marriott, set around the historic Gezirah Palace, offers a more central base in Zamalek. On Luxor’s West Bank, Al Moudira provides a cultivated, garden-filled retreat close to the Theban archaeological landscape. In Aswan, Old Cataract occupies one of the Nile’s defining settings, with current room and facility availability confirmed before proposal.
The most recognizable name is not always the strongest answer. We consider where you will spend your days, whether you prefer history or contemporary polish, how much time you want at the property, which views matter, and whether the room configuration truly works for the traveling party.
For landmark properties undergoing renovation, restoration or management transition, we verify current operating conditions before recommending them. The Winter Palace in Luxor will not be presented as available until its reopening and inventory are officially confirmed.
